Why Join Kidney Solutions?

You’re not alone! Whether you’re a kidney patient or someone considering becoming a living donor, you’re able to talk to someone who’s been there, who has walked the same path and understands the experience. Learn about the process and the options you have at every step. Our goal is to lessen the anxiety and stress that people experience as they try to cope with the transplant process.
Our Volunteers do a lot of work to assist you in your journey through the search for a living donor.
A few of the items we provide for registered members:
- Providing a mentor to help you navigate the transplant/donor process when needed.

All items and services are subject to availability.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What information do we need to get started?
- Register with Kidney Solutions
- Complete our Membership Consent Form Click Here
- We’ll need a photo and short bio to create the flyers and social media posts.
What sort of picture will you need?
- Either locate or take a “head shot“ photo of yourself. Remember to center yourself in the photo and don’t include other people. High resolution JPEG or GIF files work best but we’ll try to work with whatever you can send. For examples, visit our “Waiting” page.
What should I include in my bio?
- Write a short bio (70 words or less) describing your kidney situation. This bio will help us create your flyers and feature for social media and on our “Waiting” page.
- Your bio should be brief, and include items such as:
If you are single or married. Children?
How your disease has affected your life.
How a transplant will improve your life.
Thanks for considering to donate to you. A bio might look something like this:
“I am Rob Smith, married with three children and two grandchildren. I inherited kidney disease from my father and am now on the transplant list. My dreams and goals have been put on hold, waiting for a kidney donor. I pray daily that a transplant will come soon. Are you the one who will help me by being my living donor?”
